I just went to the bathroom. I have to shut the door behind me so that Chloe doesn't crawl in the closet or bathroom area and mess with things.
Chloe knocked while I was in the bathroom. I usually don't say anything, but today I said, "Nobody's home!" I heard Chloe say, "huh?" I repeated, "Nobody's home!" Chloe asked, "huh?" I laughed. Chloe knocked again. I said "Nobody's home!" ... "huh?"
Chloe is so funny!

fit Chloe
I just started doing Insanity (Beach Body) ... for the 3rd time.
After today's workout (the fit test), I picked Chloe up out of her play-pen. She was crawling around, playing with toys, and I was recording my fit test results. I turned around and saw this:
Actually, this was the second time she did it. The first time, I just laughed and then realized that I needed to get my camera ready in case she did it again. I said, "Aww, do it again!" ...and she did! She's getting fit with her Mommy! She's the cutest kid, ever. Seriously. :-)

sleepy Chloe
Miss Chloe will be 16 months old next Wednesday - 9/21/11.
Earlier today, Chloe was playing on the floor. I asked her, "Whatcha doing?" Chloe looked like she was in pain, all of a sudden. She quickly jumped on her knees and raised her hands - asking me to pick her up.
I picked Chloe up, wondering what could be wrong. She clung to me tightly. I made her a bottle of diluted milk and put her to bed. She went right to sleep.

cute Chloe
Chloe is a toddler. She throws tantrums.
I'm a mom. I'm a little more stubborn than she is. So far.
Right now, we're working on keeping consistent boundaries. "No! You can't play with that. Here, play with this instead!"
If Chloe is really upset, I ask her "Where's your milk?" She looks around the room for her bottle of milk. When spots it, she'll usually crawl over to it and her milk soothes her ... until the next time that she wants to play with something that she's not allowed to play with.
Chloe just did something cute.
Chloe is semi-asleep right now. Late at night, she'll sit up in her bed - keeping her eyes shut - and then lie right back down.
I think it's cute. I think she's cute. Not too many people have ever denied Chloe's cuteness. Actually, no one has.
I'll stop bragging now.

raisin Chloe
Chloe's age: Chloe will be 16 months in about 1 week.
Chloe's diaper size: 3
I know that the name of this blog isn't very original, but I wanted it to be something easily remembered.
I want to keep a better record of Chloe's childhood. I'm one of those moms that promised herself that she would keep a baby book throughout her baby's infancy and toddler development. Yeah, that didn't happen. We're in the blogging generation, any way, right?
It is September 13th at 10:25pm. Miss Chloe is asleep. Earlier today, Chloe and I went to the store to return a DVD to the Blockbuster kiosk. Before leaving the grocery store, I bought a bag of those mini-boxes of raisins. Chloe has been having some digestion issues, lately.
Chloe starts going to her babysitter's house on a part time basis, beginning early Thursday (9/15/11) morning. I was just offered a new job as a residential maid. It is a part time job, for now. My employer thinks he'll be hiring me as a full time employee soon, though.
Chloe's babysitter's name is Courtney. Courtney has a daughter who's a month and a half younger than Chloe.
Lately, Chloe has been saying "da". It seems to mean that she likes whatever has her attention.
Chloe also says "hot" (which means she's acknowledging the temperature of her food), "hey" and "hi". She has said "mama" a few times, but only when she's upset and wants / needs something.
I just noticed: raising-Chloe... (She ate raisins today.) Well, if Chloe ever reads this, she'll definitely know what a strange / quirky mom she has. :-) (I love you, Chloe!)
Chloe's favorite toy: any book, piece of paper, and her baby shopping cart
Chloe's favorite show: Super Why
Chloe's favorite song: Super Why theme song, "I love you" (the Barney song), and "If all the raindrops" (another Barney song)
Mommy's favorite thing that Chloe does: Chloe pats me on the back when I pick her up to hold her
I love Miss Chloe!
